Depending on location, the correct replacement may be annealed, tempered, heat-strengthened, laminated, insulated or another specialty configuration. Window Glass Without Replacing the Window
If the frame and sash remain serviceable, damaged glass can often be replaced without replacing the window. We replace single-pane glass and IGUs in aluminum, wood, vinyl, steel, casement, double-hung, sliding and tilt-and-turn systems. IGU, Tempered, Laminated & Low-E Glass
Insulated Glass Unit (IGU) Replacement
A foggy double-pane window usually means the IGU seal has failed. The unit can often be replaced while the sash and frame stay in place. A replacement IGU must be fabricated to the correct thickness, dimensions, glass makeup, spacer and coating, with options such as Low-E, laminated panes, tempered glass and warm-edge spacers.
Tempered Glass
Tempered glass is heat-treated for strength and breaks into small pieces. It is common in doors, showers and storefronts. It cannot be cut or drilled afterward, so all dimensions, holes and notches must be confirmed before production.
Laminated & Security Glass
Laminated glass bonds layers with an interlayer that retains fragments, and can serve safety, security, acoustic and UV-related needs.
